Her photograph of transgendered couple Nick and Gigi - became the poster for AMERICAN VISION and NYU’s Washington Square Gallery exhibition of the same name.

About the contest:
The New York Center for Photographic Art (NYC4PA) invites photographers world-wide to submit images using any photographic process (print, image transfer, emulsion transfer, encaustic, black and white, etc.). Winners will receive $3,000 in cash awards, be featured in a New York Gallery Exhibition, on the NYC4PA Online Gallery and in the WANDERING CURVES 2017 catalog. The Grand Prize winning image will be posted on the NYC4PA home page.
We are very excited that Winners and Juror’s Selections will have the opportunity to participate in a gallery show, OCTOBER 3-14, 2017 at the JADITE GALLERY in the exciting Hell’s Kitchen area in Manhattan.
Submit images that, rather than focusing on a particular subject, or color palette, have a curve, or curves, as a critical element. The possibilities are endless, from winding roads to automobile trim to the curvaceous form of an elephant’s trunk when feeding. And don’t forget the round edge of grandpa’s bald head or a cold refreshing scoop of ice cream sitting atop a cone. Curves are all around us all the time. Capture them as a dominant element of your images and send them in.

hic at nunc│traveling by car with my cats to the woods of Oklahoma, U.S., May 29, 2017 (post III)

That bed was definitely too small for both of them, and perhaps little too heavy for me (12 pounds + 8 pounds), but I couldn't help it... Once Cassius noticed that Prada was  traveling on my lap, he must have thought that that option was available also for him.

behind the scenes│nothing but you, your camera and remote control, June 27th, 2016, Lake Whitney, TX

I stopped by the Lake Whitney for a few days while coming back from my art show in Bremond, TX.

It often happens to me to suddenly become creative in new places especially if I can feel and smell wood there. It was the case in that fascinating cabin, too; only I realized that I had nothing, absolutely nothing I needed at that time for styling, not even a hairpin to tie my hair... I was very angry at myself, but when I pack for an art show, there are thousands of other more important things I have to think of. Anyway, I used one of my summer thin blouses to attach hair up, and this black body that seemed good for my concept. I sat down at the big round table. Many ideas started flowing.

This is where I created my series titled "And All Was Night Below Stretching Its Body, the Fur Of a Live Killer Panther".

hic at nunc│traveling by car with my cats to the woods of Oklahoma, U.S., May 29, 2017

I am difficult in so many aspects, and my older cat, Prada, that is now 2 years old, seems to be my perfect match... She would travel exclusively on her bed placed on my lap; 12, 2 pounds of weight on me during about 4 hours of trip. However, that's not the end of the story. I'll have more things to tell you. I have the second young male cat, Cassius, that I adopted for Christmas last year. He traveled with us, too.

hic at nunc│unusual encounter with a Polish Tatra sheepdog in the woods of Oklahoma, U.S., May 31, 2017

I got out of the car to meet the owner of the cabin at her office, when I saw this dog walk towards me. He seemed to be exactly the same dog my father used to have when I was a child. A sudden wave of warm memories washed over me. I wasn't sure what the dog was going to do... I just kept still at my place.
