exhibitions│GOOD BOKEH, International Juried Photography Exhibition, Greater Los Angeles, CA, U.S.A.

I am pleased to announce that my work "The Trembling Living World Will Congeal Into A Perfect Shape Nearly Geometrical" has been curated into an International Juried Photography Exhibition "GOOD BOKEH", and will be exhibited at the Dab Art & H Gallery in Ventura, CA, U.S.A. from February 1st thru April 2nd, 2017.

Dab Art’s juried shows have featured remarkable and notable artists from all over the globe. The venue is H Gallery + Studios, a 1930's-era building located between Malibu and Santa Barbara in the greater Los Angeles area. The vintage industrial charm of H Gallery’s vaulted ceilings, suspended display walls and substantial exhibition space create a unique and highly visited gallery. Dab Art’s high-caliber reputation and progressive curating style makes juried shows one of the most coveted contemporary exhibitions in Southern California.

Almost 1300 entries were juried and selected based on technical application, originality and concept. After 3 rounds, only 46 individual pieces were chosen for exhibition. Finalists were invited to show their work in an eight-week exhibition at H Gallery.

Artists selected for this exhibit will also be featured along with their photos in a book published by Dab Art titled "Good Bokeh: Focusing on Fine Art Photographers". This full-color folio will be added to the permanent catalog in the LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) Balch Art Research Library. The book will also be available for purchase at

LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States. LACMA’s Balch Art Research Library maintains an extensive research-level collection of approximately 175,000 books, journals, periodicals and art publications. This non-circulating collection consists of monographs on artists and specialized art subjects; art reference books; collection and exhibition catalogues of museums, galleries, and private collectors; scholarly periodicals in the field of art and related areas; current auction catalogues; artist files; and material in related fields of study.
