exhibitions│"Celebration of Texas Art 2017", Houston, TX, USA

I am pleased to announce that my work "The Trembling Living World Will Congeal Into A Perfect Shape Nearly Geometrical" has been curated into a juried exhibition "Celebration of Texas Art 2017", the 38th annual philanthropy event presented by The Assistance League of Houston, and will be exhibited at the Williams Tower Gallery in Houston, TX, U.S.A. from Janury 18 thru March 3, 2017.
With entries open to all artists residing in Texas, 279 artists submitted a total of 715 pieces, the sixty artists were accepted for the show, and there are currently 22 artists on the waiting list.
"Celebration of Texas Art 2017" is a juried art show that evolved from a simple art exhibition over 35 years ago to showcase the work of today’s artists from all across Texas.

The Assistance League of Houston is a volunteer group committed to serving the educational and emotional needs of children and young adults, as well as families in crisis in the greater Houston area. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Assistance League of Houston.
The Opening Night is taking place on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with Award Presentation at 7:00 p.m. Artists will be awarded $4,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place on the Opening Night where the juror will also provide an information tour of the art.
